This purely flat picture tube delivers increased viewing angle along with the enhanced picture linearity necessary to produce accurate life-like images. Dynamic Quadruple Focus utilizes both horizontal and vertical beam adjustment ensure that the edges and corners not the center of the screen have a precise beam spot for a sharp uniform picture from corner to corner. CrystalScan HDSC (TM) uses the full high definition display capability of the television to create the sharpest most realistic picture possible from every source. A 3DYC (4 MB 10 Bit) Digital Comb Filter with Vertical Contour Correction eliminates most video noise normally seen in RF and composite video signals. This advanced filter analyzes sequential fields of information to eliminate dot crawl and color bleed. Additionally the 3D Y C Comb Filter significantly reduces detail noise seen as shimmering or flicker in complex or intricately detailed scenes. CableClear (TM) utilizes the Digital 3D YC Comb Filter to compare frames and determine the existence and extent of video noise. It then applies the needed amount of digital video noise reduction and the appropriate sharpness adjustment to keep the picture clear. This feature now works on RF composite and S-Video inputs and can be selected by input. Velocity Scan Modulation (VSM) creates sharp well-defined edges on black to white transitions by adjusting the scanning speed of the electron beam. The DFine (TM) feature increases the scanning speed for even greater detail. With Adjustable DFine (TM) the user can choose between High Low and Off settings. A wide band video amplifier increases picture sharpness and detail.
