Able to connect to a network by 10/100T-Base Ethernet, the IK-WB21A's integral web server transmits its video with audio signals at rates approaching 30 frames per second by means of highly efficient M-JPEG compression streams. Using only a standard web browser, you can remotely view camera images. And you can remotely control the PTZ and multiple presets via a desktop PC, notebook or Internet-ready cellphone on a LAN, WAN, Intranet or the Internet without additional software or plug-ins. Multiple clients can simultaneously access the same IK-WB21A on a network without any degradation in frame rate. Plus, the Toshiba IK-WB21A features a slot for a removable SD memory card, allowing for an added at-the-camera recording option that works in conjunction with an alarm.
