HP's SureStore magneto-optical jukeboxes give you a safe, permanent way to archive vast amounts of data and keep it immediately accessible. The new 9.1GB-based jukeboxes offer 75 percent more capacity than the previous 5.2GB-based products and are supported by almost all leading software applications. This model is configured with four multifunction optical disk drives and capacity for up to 128 rewritable or write-once disks, for a total capacity of 1.165TB. Disk exchange times average 6.5 seconds, with a read/write compatibility for 9.1, 5.2 and 2.6GB cartridges, read only support for 1.3GB and 650MB cartridges. The robotics offer superb reliability with a rating of 2,000,000 swaps and 100,000 power-on hours. Each drive is rated for 100,000 power-on hours and 750,000 swaps. The 1200mx supports the HP SureStore Fibre Channel SCSI Bridge 2100 ER, making it possible to separate your archived data from your host server without introducing a LAN architecture. Two-disk transport, online drive replacement and SCSI LUN addressing are also supported.
