Description
The Mini Wedge Swipe Reader connects between a PC and its keyboard. The PC keyboard supplies power to the Mini Wedge Reader. When a card is read, the reader disables the keyboard and sends card data using the same scan codes used by the keyboard. The reader can be configured to send card data with or without start sentinel, end sentinel, and carriage returns. The Mini Wedge Swipe Reader also recognizes commands from the PC to enable or disable the keyboard or card reading. It featues two track capability, bi-directional reading and a dual color LED. It reads encoded cards (driver s licenses and bank cards) that meet ISO/ANSI/AAMVA standards and makes up to 1,000,000 passes with ISO-conforming cards.
