This premium shredder will shred 14 sheets per pass and up to 50 shredding passes per day for a total of up to 700 sheets per day. Very small strip-cut particles (7/32") provide more security than standard strip-cut shredders. Durable, hardened steel cutters safely shred staples, credit cards, small paperclips, even CDs and DVDs (via the designated CD-shredding slot). Unique "Safety Lock" feature locks the shredder when not in use to prevent shredder from accidentally being turned on. A sheet capacity gauge will help determine if the number of sheets you are shredding is correct. The 9" front feed paper entry easily accepts any standard letter or legal-size documents. Reliable electronic auto start/stop provides quick and easy shredding. Heavy duty, quiet motor allows for extended shredding cycle and less down time. Comes with a 7-gallon wastebasket that slides out for easy emptying. Shuts off automatically when the shredder is jammed, basket is ajar or shredder is overheated and alerts the operator with troubleshooting indicator lights.
