The nine-inch paper entry easily accepts all standard documents and it shreds up to eight sheets per pass and 10-20 shredding passes per day (or about 160 total sheets per day). Smaller 5/32" x 2" confetti-cut particles provide higher security and less bulk waste. Plus, it safely shreds staples and credit cards. The P-55C has a safety stop feature, which locks out the shredder to prevent children or pets from accidentally turning it on. The auto start/stop feature provides the convenience of one-handed operation, saving you time and making it easy to use. The unique open-front design makes it easy to see when the five-gallon basket is full and ready for disposal. The pivoting head with handle also makes emptying the basket quick and easy, with little mess. The reverse function is provided for easy removal of paper jams.
