The HMPS1U uses special network switching technology that recognizes print calls from your network computers and differentiates them from scan, copy, and fax functions, which are handled by your network's main multifunction capable host computer. Network users will now be able to attach and share a multifunction printer without the need for a dedicated computer acting as a print server.The HMPS1U's advanced printer sharing capabilities also allow you to print within your local area network or print remotely from any client computer outside of your network. You can use the HMPS1U to print to your local printer from any computer attached to the Internet from anywhere in the world.
